It was October 14th, 1987. Jessica and a couple of other kids have been playing at her Aunt’s residence day treatment center. As her aunt turned away for a couple of minutes, the unthinkable happened. the other young children started to scream, and it was instantly clear that Jessica had fallen into an old nicely shaft.
Minutes later a bevel of rescue workers started to arrive. primary responder Bobbie Jo Hall informed folks magazine about the experience:
“We all called to the baby. We used our flashlights to look decrease the hole, but we never could get a visual on her. We didn’t get one until later in the afternoon, when we lowered a video digital camera decrease there and obtained a side view of her. The mom was quite panicky.”
It wouldn’t be until hour 56 that the child was eventually brought to the surface. The video clip is among the most dramatic in modern tv set history. A bruised, bandage wrapped infant girl was at some point brought out and greeted by reside tv set cameras as nicely as the millions that watched in awe.
